Update #9 - 8/3/23
Friends, Kara is continuing her chemotherapy treatments, and we are praising God for how well she has been tolerating them. The summer heat is no joke here in Florida, and it adds another layer of challenge to recovery.
Kara has been blessed by the ability to rest when needed, and the girls have been wonderful helpers. They are growing up so fast, and we are grateful for every day we have together.
As we move closer to the end of the chemo phase, we are beginning to think about what comes next. Surgery will likely be scheduled after chemo concludes. We are trusting the medical team to guide us through these decisions.
Thank you for your continued prayers and support. The meals, encouragement, and generosity of God’s people have been a tremendous blessing.
