Update #7 - 7/6/23
Happy Independence Day week! We hope you all had a wonderful holiday.
Kara is now more than halfway through her chemotherapy treatments. The cumulative effects are beginning to show, and she has good days and more difficult days. The fatigue in particular has been a challenge.
The girls are out of school for summer, which brings both blessings and challenges. We are grateful for the slower pace but also find ourselves needing to be more intentional about rest.
A Few Praises:
- The tumor continues to shrink
- Kara’s spirits have been good, and she is trusting the Lord
- Our church family has been incredibly supportive
- Finley is growing and thriving

- For Kara to have energy and strength
- For patience as we navigate this season as a family
- For continued tumor shrinkage
- For our future treatment decisions
