Update #5 - 6/15/23
Treatment continues, and we are slowly finding our new normal. Kara had her second round of chemo this week, and overall she has been doing better than expected.
The fatigue is real, but she has been able to rest when she needs to. Our church family and friends have been wonderful about bringing meals and helping with the kids.
Finley, our youngest at just a few months old, has been such a bright spot. The older girls have been amazing at stepping up to help. There is something precious about watching siblings rally together in tough times.
We are continually reminded of God’s faithfulness. Every day we see evidence of His care for us through the body of Christ. Your prayers are sustaining us.
Some specific prayer requests:
- Continued manageable side effects
- Kara to regain strength between treatments
- The older girls as they process their mom’s illness
- Our ability to glorify God through this
