Update #4 - 6/8/23
It has been two weeks since Kara’s diagnosis, and two treatments in. Time moves both fast and slow at once.
Praise Reports:
- Kara’s side effects have been manageable
- Our church family and community have been incredibly supportive
- The girls are adjusting well
- We have felt God’s peace in a real way
Prayer Requests:
- That Kara’s body would continue to tolerate the chemo well
- For minimal nausea and fatigue
- For our younger children to process what is happening
- For our marriage to grow stronger through this trial
We have been blessed by the outpouring of support from so many. Thank you for your prayers, meals, and words of encouragement. They mean more than we can express.
God has not abandoned us. In the midst of the storm, we know who holds us.
