Update #2 - 5/18/23
Friends, we are overwhelmed by your love and prayers. Thank you to each of you who have reached out, sent messages, and lifted us up before the Lord.
Kara has now had several appointments, and we have a clearer picture of what lies ahead. She will begin chemotherapy soon. The oncologist has been thorough and has given us a detailed treatment plan.
One of the hardest parts of this week was explaining the situation to our girls. They have handled it with more grace than we could have expected. Please pray for them as they process this difficult news.
We cannot express adequately how much your prayers and support mean to us. God is using you to carry us through this.

- For Kara’s health and response to treatment
- For our girls to trust the Lord through this
- For wisdom for all the doctors and nurses
- For our marriage to be strengthened
