Update #10 - 8/24/23
As we approach the end of Kara’s chemotherapy regimen, we are feeling both relief and anticipation. Relief that this phase is nearing completion, and anticipation about what comes next.
Kara has been a warrior through these months of treatment. Her faith has been an inspiration to all of us. She continues to trust that God is working all things together for our good and His glory.
What Lies Ahead:
- We expect the final chemo treatment to happen soon
- Then there will be a recovery period before surgery
- The surgeon appointments are being scheduled
- We are hopeful that the tumor has responded well to treatment
Thank you to everyone who has supported us through this journey. Your prayers and practical help have been invaluable. We could not have made it this far without you.

- For a smooth completion of the chemo phase
- For the upcoming surgery and recovery
- For continued faith and trust in the Lord
- For our children as they process everything
