Update #1 - 5/8/23
Dear friends and family,
We wanted to reach out to let you know that Kara has been diagnosed with breast cancer. We learned this difficult news on Monday, April 24th. Kara found a lump herself, and we went to the doctor expecting it to be nothing. The biopsy came back positive, and further testing has confirmed the diagnosis.
We are trusting in God’s sovereignty and goodness through this trial. He loves us fiercely and eternally, and whatever the future brings, it comes to His hand.
Please pray for:
- Kara’s treatment plan and upcoming appointments
- Our five daughters (Carlee, Riley, Chelsea, Josie, and Finley) as they process this news
- Wisdom for the medical team
- Our faith to remain strong
